Try these first
- Clean the filter under the bottom spray arm. Most newer dishwashers have one, and most owners never clean it.
- If it drains through a garbage disposal and the disposal is new, the knockout plug may still be in place.
- Run the kitchen tap hot before starting so the first fill is hot.
- Central Florida water is hard. White film and clogged spray arm holes are common. Use rinse aid and clean the arms.
